NTP Shooters and Infinity Firearms are proud to announce the 2012 NTPS Infinity Firearms Championship Series

We are pleased to announce a new event for NTPS competitors - the 2012 NTPS Infinity Firearms Championship Series. Thanks to fantastic sponsorship from Infinity Firearms www.sviguns.com , 5 matches will be designated as part of the Championship Series during the 2012 season. Competitors will accumulate points from the 5 matches for an overall score in the series. Your top 4 point totals will count towards the season standings, and we will award prizes at the end of the season to the top finisher in each class (GM through D) in Open, Limited, and Production. There must be at least 2 competitors in each class at the end to be eligible for the larger prizes, and the more competitors in a class, the more valuable prize is awarded. Also, during the 5 matches, we will be awarding ribbons for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each class in Open, Limited, and Production, so hang around for the results!! Check out the page on our website for the complete rules.

Our first leg of the 2012 NTPS Infinity Firearms Championship Series will be the April Club Match on April 14th. More information will be forthcoming. Thank you again to Brandon Strayer and Infinity Firearms for this awesome opportunity! NTPS BoD

2012 NTPS Infinity Firearms Championship Series Rules

1. The 5 matches that will be part of the 2012 NTPS Infinity Firearms Championship Series will be run under the current USPSA rules.

2. The 5 matches will be of equal point value and the dates will be designated beforehand. The NTPS BoD will have the discretion to assign alternate matches as part of the 2012 NTPS Infinity Firearms Championship Series if the designated match date must be rescheduled due to weather, range conditions, etc.

3. Competitors must compete in 4 of the 5 matches in the Series to be eligible.

4. Three Divisions will be recognized in the Series - Open, Limited, and Production. All classes will be recognized, GM, M, A, B, C, D, but there must be a minimum of 2 competitors for a class to be eligible for the prizes.

5. If a competitor is DQ'ed in one of the matches, this will still meet the requirement of having competed in the match, but their score will be zero (0) for that match.

6. Championship series points will be equal to the competitor's percentage of the division winner, ie the Match % column on the official USPSA match results.

7. Ribbons will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each class (GM-D) in Open, Limited, and Production at each of the 2012 NTPS Infinity Firearms Championship Series matches.

8. The competitor's classification will be confirmed before the final results are posted, and any necessary adjustments will be made before the results are finalized.

9. In the event of two or more competitors tying for first place, the first tie breaker will be the competitor's accuracy during the 4 matches. The competitor with the most A's in the 4 counting matches will be the winner. If they are still tied, then the most B's will determine the winner, then C's, and then D's if necessary. All hits will only be counted from the 4 best matches which were used to calculate the competitor's overall score.

10. All decisions will be made by the NTPS Board of Directors, and those decisions will be final.
